Free Night Ideas
Tuesday nights are Urban Immersion free nights. Before you come to Chicago it’s a great idea to make some plans in terms of what you’d like to do. The possibilities in a city like Chicago are endless, but here are some things we recommend (in no particular order).
The Willis Tower Sky Deck (you probably know it as the Sears Tower) – Great view of the city day or night, as well as a great opportunity to learn some Chicago History. You can now step out on glass and look down! Go to http://www.theskydeck.com/ for more information.
Whirley Ball - This is a really fun group activity. It’s a combination of lacrosse and basketball in a bumper car. You’ll want to look into the Chicago location at http://www.whirlyball.com/home/ . It’s a good idea to call and ask for a group rate.
Dave and Busters – Kind of an arcade for adults. Go to http://www.daveandbusters.com/ and search for the Chicago location.
Working – WORKING is a vital new musical based on the book by Pulitzer Prize-winning author and Chicago’s own Studs Terkel. You can go to http://www.workingthemusical.com/for more information. We have not looked into the content of this musical in terms of appropriateness etc. so you should look into that if you’d like to go.
IMAX Theater at Navy Pier – Go to http://archive.imax.com/chicago/ for more information.
