Pray For Chicago Metro CCC

University of Chicago

- That students would continue to take steps of faith to share the Gospel with their friends and submit to the Lordship of Christ.

- Movement is growing…pray for more younger students in our ministry and that the older students would begin discipling younger students.

- Praying for 30 students to be involved by the end of the year

- Pray for more men too!

Harper College

- This is the first year we’re taking a group to Big Break…so far there are 7-8 signed up to go…pray that they would follow through and come!

Art Schools

- Ask God to raise up more men to lead

- That at SAIC we would find students that want to start a movement

- At the Art Institute we would find a faculty member to be our advisor

Columbia

- Students would be bold in sharing their faith

- Students have begun to change their weekly meetings so that they can have more of an impact on the Campus (hosting house-parties, having “coffee-and-conversation” nights).      – Please pray that our students would continue to invite friends and that we would see the Gospel spread through these interactions.

Dominican University

- Students would continue to pursue men to get involved

- For united minds and purpose as we plan and hope to start an athletes-oriented Bible study next fall

DePaul

- Unity of the 4 Bible studies into a cohesive group.

- For the Athletes in Action Movement to grow and gain momentum amongst the sports teams

- More men to get involved

- Pray that the women would be reaching out to those in their dorms, classes, etc. and taking steps of faith to glorify the Lord

University of Illinois – Chicago

- The movements there would develop a heart for the lost and seek to build relationships with non-believers and that they would experience real authentic community as believers.    – More men would step up into leadership.

- Pray for the student leadership team to reach out to non-believers through their intramural soccer team

IIT

- Pray for women to be part of the CRU movement

- IIT would have more women interested and committed to knowing the Lord.  God would continue to develop their hearts toward sharing with the lost.

Elmhurst College

- For ministry starting in the fraternities – the new men’s Bible study

- For the discipleship that his happening on campus – that students who agreed to the challenge last semester would be faithful, teachable, and available.

-Students have a faith goal of sharing their faith 500 times this semester. Please pray for opportunities for them to be faithful and that the Lord would work in students hearts through the power of His word.

College of Lake County

- Boldness in sharing their faith

- That students would take ownership

- That the Lord would direct us on how to effectively reach the students at this community college

Ethnic Student Ministries

- For the upcoming South-Asian American student conference (SALT) – pray that 2 new movements would be launched as a result

- For 3 African American men to join the leadership team at UIC

Bridges Ministry

- Spring Break trip to Minneapolis

- Christian international students at IIT are starting to multiply their lives

- Making connections at UIC in order to start movements there,

- For new Bridges staff – one couple moving from Kentucky next Fall, one new staff couple raising support!

General

- God would use the Big Break and other various spring break trips to effectively train our students in evangelism

- We’ll be hosting over 200 students here in Chicago for Spring Break

- For Sara Neumann, Sarah Watson and Jeremiah and Emily Nicols to finish their support

- For the 40+ students that have applied for Summer Projects
