Men’s Overnight

Join other student men from campuses all over Chicagoland for our first men’s overnight.  We’ll be exploring the uniqueness of walking with and serving God as men, eating good food, and having a lot of fun.

Date and Time: Friday, February 10th –  Saturday, February 11th.   We will start on Friday with registration and dinner at 6:00 and we’ll be done by 1:30 on Saturday afternoon.

Location: First Baptist Church of Elmhurst

Cost: $25 includes a steak dinner on Friday night as well as snacks and breakfast and lunch on Saturday.

Transportation: Go here for driving directions.   You can also get to Elmhurst using the Metra Union Pacific West Line.  You can find the Metra schedule here.  Trains leave downtown from the Ogilvie Transportation Center.  We recommend taking the #51 train that leaves at 5:13 P.M.   As the event gets closer we’ll provide you with a phone number to text when you leave Chicago so you can be picked up from the Metra station in Elmhurst and driven to the church.

What to Bring:  Sleeping bag or bedding, pillow, sleeping mat or air mattress if you have one (we’ll be sleeping on the floor), Bible, notebook, pen, athletic clothing, athletic shoes, warm clothes for if we play outside, and toiletries.

Fall Retreat 2011

Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, whatever emotions your heart may be feeling, whatever struggles you may be going through, God is wanting to draw you closer to him. Join us as we look to connect our hearts to the heart of God.

Registration – Online registration is now closed.  We will accept walk in’s at the retreat.  If you have not registered and need to take the shuttle, please call Andy at 734 306 3597.

Dates – Friday, October 28th – Sunday, October 30th.

Location – Army Lake Camp, East Troy, Wisconsin.

Price – The cost of the retreat is $75. However, there is a $15 discount for freshmen as well as a $10 early registration discount if you register and pay your $25 deposit by October 17.

Main Speaker - Rev. Terry Robinson is the Director of Here’s Life Inner City (the compassionate Urban Ministry of CCC). in Detroit. He is also the Minister of Discipleship and Kingdom Expansion at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. He is a graduate of Louissiana Tech and Michigan Theological Seminary.
