Spend your spring break learning to share the Gospel in Panama City Beach Florida.  Big Break will give you the training and experience to share the gospel back on your college campus.

The conference begins with onsite registration on Saturday afternoon. The beginning session is Sunday night. The Monday through Thursday morning sessions provide practical training on sharing the gospel. The afternoons offer the opportunity to practice sharing the gospel in Panama City Beach. The Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions provide worship, opportunities to share your afternoon experiences, and biblical teaching. Optional seminars will be offered throughout the week on such topics as apologetics, Web evangelism, and worldviews.

This is what a typical weekday at Big Break will look like:

10:00am – Morning Session

12:00 – Lunch and Personal Quiet Time

1:30pm – Evangelism on Beach

7:30pm – Evening Session

There will be groups of students and staff going to Big Break for both the week of March 17 – 24 and March 24 – 31.  The cost of the conference is $299 and that includes your stay in a beautiful condo just steps from the beach, and conference costs.  The Condo’s have full kitchens so you can cook your meals.  We’ll be arranging transportation from Chicago via Buses of Vans as well.  Our early estimate on the cost of transportation to and from the conference is $180.  More transportation information will be available soon.

Join other student men from campuses all over Chicagoland for our first men’s overnight.  We’ll be exploring the uniqueness of walking with and serving God as men, eating good food, and having a lot of fun.

Date and Time: Friday, February 10th –  Saturday, February 11th.   We will start on Friday with registration and dinner at 6:00 and we’ll be done by 1:30 on Saturday afternoon.

Location: First Baptist Church of Elmhurst

Cost: $25 includes a steak dinner on Friday night as well as snacks and breakfast and lunch on Saturday.

Transportation: Go here for driving directions.   You can also get to Elmhurst using the Metra Union Pacific West Line.  You can find the Metra schedule here.  Trains leave downtown from the Ogilvie Transportation Center.  We recommend taking the #51 train that leaves at 5:13 P.M.   As the event gets closer we’ll provide you with a phone number to text when you leave Chicago so you can be picked up from the Metra station in Elmhurst and driven to the church.

What to Bring:  Sleeping bag or bedding, pillow, sleeping mat or air mattress if you have one (we’ll be sleeping on the floor), Bible, notebook, pen, athletic clothing, athletic shoes, warm clothes for if we play outside, and toiletries.
