Chicago Metro Campus Crusade for Christ is partnering with Moody Theological Seminary for an exciting service and evangelism opportunity.
Service in the City is an annual outreach event of Moody Theological Seminary. Students, faculty and family members are invited to come together to go out into the city in teams to work alongside ministries in various neighborhoods all over the city of Chicago. The purpose of it is encourage local churches and para-church ministries, demonstrating Christian compassion in the laboratory of the city
The event will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2010 from 7:00am to 7:00pm at Moody Bible Institute 820 N LaSalle Blvd, ASC 2 (2nd floor of the building where the Commons cafeteria is at). We start registration at 7:00 am. Bagels and coffee will be provided. The worship program will start promptly at 8:00 am. After a round of prayer and worship, teams will be sent off around 8:30 am. The day at the ministry site will conclude around 3:30-4:00pm with prayer and debrief. You will then return to Moody and join us for a round of worship and sharing of the experience of the day. A buffet style dinner will be provided. We will conclude the night at 7:00 pm. A more detailed schedule of the day will be published in early February.
The cost is $25 and includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, a SITC t-shirt and transportation costs.
