If you have ever gone to Christmas Conference you know what a box of love is – it’s a box filled with everything a family of 6 needs to have a holiday dinner.  Much like we do in Indianapolis at the conference, the Here’s Life Inner City team here in Chicago packs and distributes these boxes in partnership with urban churches just before Thanksgiving.  If you’re interested in serving with this ministry in your own backyard there are many opportunities and help would be appreciated!

Thursday, Nov 19 – Set up for Boxes of Love packing from 4pm-6pm

Friday, Nov 20 – Set up from 1-4pm

Saturday, Nov 21 – Packing party, evangelism training and box delivery from 8:15am-3pm

We are thrilled to bring the Traveling Team to Chicago this week, this will be in place of our monthly Servant Team meeting.  Louie Giglio says about them: “For the past ten years The Traveling Team has been circling the U.S. challenging college students to live out of the box for the Glory of God among the nations. I cheer them on as they are one of the most strategic mobilization movements of this generation.” They will share with us about how reconciling the World to Himself has been a part of God’s purposes from Genesis to Revelations.  Make sure you plan to come hear this exciting presentation!
